What's a Streewalk®?
Streetwalk® is great way to uncover category and retail trends
and get a first-hand look at how your brand lives in the actual retail environment.
It's a terrific opportunity to:
- Find out exactly how your target experiences and interacts with your brand
- Take a closer look at shelf space dynamics - how your brand is merchandised, how it
competes for shelf space and how your packaging appears from the consumer's point-of-view
How is a Streetwalk® conducted? By hitting the streets – literally. Key retailers in three to four markets are selected. We shop these retailers, just like regular customers. Only we talk to anyone and everyone who will talk to us. Store clerks, managers, purchasers and shoppers all have something different to say and it all goes into understanding your brand’s equity. Some interviews are pre-arranged; many are simply ad-hoc. Along with the interviews, we take hundreds of photographs. In the end, the interviews and the photos tell the story.
